Alaska USA Wrestling (AUSAW) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that oversees 30+ sanctioned clubs and numerous independent wrestlers across the state. We typically have over 2300 wrestlers & more than 450 coaches registered each year. AUSAW as a state chapter is a member of and governed by USA Wrestling, the national governing body for the US Olympic Committee. Individual clubs host tournaments each weekend during the season which runs from February-early May.

The culmination of the season is held in late April, early May when AUSAW hosts a 3- day State tournament, including Folkstyle, Greco-Roman and Freestyle wrestling.
